INTRODUCTION TO RIFLE SHOOTING

This course will explore the fundamentals for new and experienced shooters and will help shooters to  get the most out of their firearm.

Most gun owners have at least one rifle in their collection.  It seems that only a small percentage of individuals actually

get the results they expect from that rifle.

Topics to be covered:

• Selecting the proper firearm
• Rifle safety
• Gun handling i.e.
  position, breathing, sight alignment, trigger control
• Proper zeroing
• Alternative firing positions
• Use of the rifle sling
• Proper follow-up training to maintain your skills

Required Equipment

• Rifle
• Rifle sling
• 40 Rounds of ammo
• Eye / Ear protection
• Brimmed Hat

Instructor Chuck Belz instructs this course.   The course is divided into a two hour in classroom orientation

followed by approximately one hour in range to apply classroom principles.  Course fee is $110.00 plus tax per person.

A $50 deposit per person is required to reserve a space in this course.  Participation is limited to six persons.
