COURSE GOAL: To teach the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using apistol safely.

STUDENT TEXT: The Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook

PRE-REQUISITE: NRA FIRST STEPS PISTOL  or other basic handgun training from civilian or military training class.

COURSE OUTLINE:

    * LESSON I     Pistol Knowledge and Safe Gun Handling
    * LESSON II    Ammunition Knowledge and the Fundamentals of Pistol Shooting
    * LESSON III   Firing the First Shots
    * LESSON IV    Two-Handed and One-Handed Standing Shooting Positions
    * LESSON V     Pistol Sports and Activities

Class occur on a weekend with two (4) Hour classes each day. Additional time may be desirable for students to develop skills.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

    * Pistol and owner’s manual
    * Pistol cleaning equipment
    * Gunlock or lockable case for pistol
    * 200 rounds live ammunition (for use during live fire exercises on range only)
    * Rental firearms available for an additional fee

COST:  $150.00 / $200.00 AFTER MAY 1, 2012

A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $50.00 is required to reserve a space in this class!

Course Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellation must occur 1 week prior to the class date for a refund of deposit.

If cancellation occurs within the week prior to the class date, the deposit could be transferred to a new class date or different person if the cancelling party is able to provide a replacement reservation for the class date.

Otherwise, the Non-Refundable deposit plus tax and credit card use fee of 3% would be charged (if a credit card was provided to make the reservation) should the course not be attended for ANY reason.

Freedom Armory may cancel a course at any time and would provide participants the opportunity to reschedule on a date provided by Freedom Armory that is suitable to their schedule.
