COURSE GOAL: To provide beginning shooters with an introduction to the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to own and use a specific shotgun model safely.

STUDENT TEXT:  The NRA BASICS OF SHOTGUN SHOOTING  handbook

COURSE OUTLINE:

    * LESSON I     Introduction to Shotgun Safety, Parts, and Operation
    * LESSON II    Introduction to Ammunition and the Fundamentals of Shotgun Shooting
    * LESSON III   Introduction to Shotgun Shooting at Straightaway Targets
    * LESSON IV    Introduction to Shotgun Cleaning, Storage, and Training Opportunities

Each class consists of approximately two hours classroom instruction and approximately one hour range instruciton.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

    * NRA FIRST STEPS  Shotgun Participant Packet
    * Shotgun and owner’s manual
    * Live ammunition (for use during live fire exercises on range only)
    * Shotgun cleaning equipment
    * Lockable shotgun case

COST:  $110.00

A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of $50.00 is required to reserve a space in this course!

Course Cancellation Policy

Please note that cancellation must occur 1 week prior to the class date for a refund of deposit.

If cancellation occurs within the week prior to the class date, the deposit could be transferred to a new class date or different person if the cancelling party is able to provide a replacement reservation for the class date.

 Otherwise, a $50 Non-Refundable deposit plus tax and credit card use fee of 3% would be charged (if a credit card was provided to make the reservation) should the course not be attended for ANY reason.
Freedom Armory may cancel a course at any time and would provide participants the opportunity to reschedule on a date provided by Freedom Armory that is suitable to their schedule.
